It was a complicated move because we had 2 pickups. The storage unit threw a wrench into it because there was a lot of damage (I MOVED MY STUFF INTO STORAGE WHEN I MOVED FROM ILLINOIS).
BUT….
We had the best 3 movers EVER. Alex, Dennis and Antione were so accommodating, friendly, funny, gentlemanly and helpful! They took the stress out of the long day.

I recently hired Poindexter for packing and local moving services. It was a two-day job and both days I was extremely happy with how friendly, professional, and efficient the movers were. Alex was extremely helpful both days and was a pleasure to work with. And Gino deserves some kind of award for packing a truck as efficiently as humanly possible. It was a really big packing and moving job but they somehow got it done with one truck and in the time estimated. Thank you to the whole team!!

Had a wonderful experience recently with Alex and David at Poindexter. I was a bit worried about moving an expensive couch but they protected it perfectly and the move was seemless and quick. Can't recommend them enough.

Alex and David were amazing. Such great guys and handled our moving situation like pros! Friendly, extremely helpful, and upbeat spirits. I had hired to move my daughter from one apartment to another and it was a bit chaotic but they never made us feel like we were a problem at all. The helped and encouraged and it was truly a great experience.

Ronald ("Ronny"), the Crew Chief/Supervisor was a consummate professional and exceedingly kind, considerate and accommodating to my mother throughout the move as was Max and Gina. I dubbed them "The Dream Team"! I've relocated a number of times over the years, including cross country and this was the most pleasant experience yet!

Antoine and Gino were absolutely incredible lifting all of the crazy shaped things we had up the stairs, in the middle of summer mind you. They were both very knowledgeable and friendly, and I've never seen someone take apart, and reinstall a door quicker than Gino. They were both great at getting some of the more awkward furniture anywhere we needed, and were friendly while doing it, all and all this was the smoothest group of movers we had, and I would highly reccomend if youre looking to move to give Point Dexter a shot. From the first call in, to the movers arriving and finishing, every single person we worked with was not only friendly, but professional. Customer service like that in a post covid world is very hard to find thank you all for helping us get into our 1st home!

I have called Poindexter twice now to get them out to my jobsite in a flash, and they have been able to do so quickly and efficiently. Each time the crew has been professional and very accommodating with navigating the chaos that ensues when trying to move 6,000 square feet. Kim was easy to book with, and each crew was awesome! Crew members included Alex, Justin, Antwon, Anthony and Larry. First I was able to request crew members, and I was happy to have Alex with us for both trips, because he knew how to tear apart and rebuild some of my desks, including my heavy and multiple piece conference table. Not only did he put it back together, but he ended up fixing some of the stripped screws for me. If there is another move in our future, we will be returning customers.

The team of 4 (Ronald, Anthony, David, and Alex show ed up on time with 2 trucks and immediately got to work. We watched as they took care to wrap our furniture and handle the boxes gently. They were very interactive to make sure things got going their proper place in the new house. A job that was estimated at 8-10 hours took a little over 6 hours. Very friendly and hard workers. Would definitely recommend
