We take pride in delivering a smooth, professional, and stress-free moving experience. Here’s what you can expect from us on your move day:

1. Arrival and Walkthrough

  • Our crew will arrive within the scheduled arrival window. We typically offer two start times: 8:00 AM–9:00 AM or an afternoon window between 12:00 PM–6:00 PM. Alternative times may be available upon request.
  • The crew will call or text when they are en route to provide an estimated time of arrival.
  • Upon arrival, our team leader will introduce the crew and conduct a walkthrough of your home.
  • We will review the items to be moved, note any pieces staying behind, and inspect for any pre-existing damages to furniture or property.
    Pro Tip: If items are going to multiple locations or staying put, using different colored painter’s tape can help differentiate them easily.

2. Protecting Your Home and Belongings

  • We lay protective runners on floors and use door jamb protectors and bannister pads as needed. For delicate flooring, please call our office to discuss additional protection options.
  • All furniture will be carefully wrapped with moving blankets, tape, and shrink wrap to ensure safe transport.

3. Packing and Loading

  • If packing services are scheduled, we will expertly pack any remaining items such as kitchenware and fragile items.
  • If packing was not previously arranged, please contact our office before move day to schedule additional services and avoid delays.
  • Our crew will load your belongings efficiently and securely, maximizing space and minimizing the risk of shifting during transit.

4. Communication Throughout the Day

  • Our team leader will keep you informed throughout the move, providing updates and confirming any special instructions.
  • If any unexpected situations arise, we will address them with you immediately.

5. Transportation

  • Your belongings will be transported safely and securely to your new location.
  • We take every precaution to prevent damages during the move.

6. Unloading and Setup

  • Upon arrival at your new home, we will conduct a walkthrough to determine where you would like your furniture and boxes placed.
  • Our team will unwrap and reassemble any furniture that was disassembled for transport.

7. Final Walkthrough

  • We will perform a final walkthrough with you to ensure everything is positioned to your satisfaction and that no items are missing or damaged.

8. Payment and Closing Out

  • The final invoice will be reviewed with you.
  • Payment is due upon completion of the move unless prior arrangements have been made.
  • We accept credit cards, checks, ACH transfers, and offer payment plans if needed.
    (Please note: a 3% processing fee applies to credit card payments, excluding deposits.)
  • We do not accept cash payments.

Additional Notes:

  • Please ensure there is a clear, unobstructed path to and from the moving truck.
  • Reserved or cleared parking spaces help minimize long carries and save you time and money.
  • If you have specialty items such as pianos, safes, or antiques, please notify us in advance so we can prepare the necessary equipment.
